イントロ

Hi, I’m Sarah. Welcome to The Daily English Show.

There’s a famous music producer and DJ called Dimitri from Paris. And one of his songs is called Une Very Stylish Fille – if that’s how you say it, I don’t know ... I think it came out in 1998. And that song has these lines in it from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

 　

　How do I look?
　Very good. I must say I’m amazed.

I heard that song a lot around the time it came out but at that time I hadn’t seen the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s so I didn’t know that those lines came from a movie. And ... so when I saw the movie for the first time, a couple of years later ... I finally realised, ahh, those lines come from a movie.

Those lines come from near the start of the movie. It’s during the scene where Holly and Paul first meet.

And we’re going to practice those lines in today’s conversation.














STICK NEWS

Kia Ora, in Stick News today an 18-year-old British princess was caught frolicking naked on school grounds.

Eugenie is an English princess. She’s the daughter of Prince Andrew, and Sarah Ferguson and is sixth in line to the British throne.
She’s now a student at Marlborough College.
A newspaper reported that one night in May a staff member woke to playful shrieks and found several young women dancing around without clothes.
Apparently there were no boys or drugs involved but the students may have been drinking.
Someone is quoted as saying a group of students were reprimanded “and that's the end of the matter."
