イントロ

Hi, I’m Sarah, welcome to The Daily English Show.

Today’s show is just a short message to say that this week we’re going to be at iSummit in Sapporo. So, from tomorrow we’re going to be making special shows from iSummit.

　今日は番組の簡単なメッセージのみをお送りします。
　今週、私たちは札幌で開催される"iSummit '08"に参加します。

Then, if you don’t already know, The Daily English Show is having a summer holiday during August. So it’ll be a month before I’m sitting on this yellow couch and talking to you again.

I’m looking forward to seeing you again in September and I hope you have a great August. If it’s summer where you are, I hope you have an excellent summer!

I hope you can survive without The Daily English Show for a month. You can always go back and look at some of the old shows if you miss it.

　そしてまだご存じでない方にお知らせです。
　８月末まで"The Daily English Show"は夏休みをいただきます。
　という訳で９月１日からまたこの黄色のカウチから番組をお届けします。
　皆さんがステキな８月を過ごされることを願っています。
　どこかで夏を楽しんでいる方は楽しい夏をお過ごし下さい。
　"The Daily English Show"中毒の方はまだ視聴していない過去放送分をご覧いただけば症状が緩和されるでしょう。
　ではまたすぐにお目にかかりましょう。

Hi everyone,
We had a great time at iSummit. I didn't get to edit the shows during the summit - we were too busy taking part in what was happening at the summit. Then I had to go offline right after the summit. So, those shows will be up when I get back online at the end of August. The scripts will also be updated then too.
I'm now offline and knf has uploaded these latest shows. He'll be doing a bit of maintenance while I'm offline -- like deleting spam comments.
I edited the last shows in a place without an internet connection, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few mistakes. I usually double check names, facts etc while editing, but couldn't this time. Feel free to point out any mistakes if you see them.
