Potato Stamp Christmas Cards

I decided to make some Christmas cards with a potato stamp.

First I made a stamp out of a potato.

I made a Christmas tree stamp.

I was planning to use this red stamp pad. But it didn’t really work.
Luckily I found some paint. There was nothing in the red tube, so I used green instead.

Then I folded some paper and stamped six trees on each sheet of paper.

When the trees were dry, I drew a picture inside the card and wrote a message.

I coloured the hat and the sign and did the final folding.

Lovely.

　ジャガイモ・スタンプでクリスマスカードを作ってみることにしました。
　まずはジャガイモでスタンプを作ります。
　クリスマスツリーのスタンプを作りました。
　初めはこの赤いスタンプを使う予定でしたが、よく写りませんでした。
　運良く絵の具を見つけました。　赤が無かったので代わりにグリーンを使いました。
　そして紙を折って１枚当たり６本のツリーをスタンプしました。
　絵の具が乾いた後、カードの内側にイラストを描いてメッセージを書きました。
　帽子とサインを塗って最後の折りをしました。
