In the film a girl walks into a café and orders a coffee.
She says: May I have a coffee please?
Then she walks over to a guy who is sitting at a table and she says to him:
Excuse me. Could you do me a favour? I’m auditioning for a film in 10 minutes and need to recite my text.
And she asks him to help her practice the script. And he agrees.
And you’ll have to watch it to see what happens.

　女性はこう言います。　「コーヒーお願いできます？」
　そして向こうのテーブルに座っている、見知らぬ男性に近づいて、こう言います。

I think it’s a really good film, that’s why I’m recommending it. It’s easy to understand. And it could be useful if you want to break up with someone in English. You could use some lines from this film.

Kia Ora, in Stick News today the writers’ strike in Hollywood is over.

　ハリウッドの脚本家たちによるストライキが終わりました。

The Writers’ Guild of America East and West are labor unions who represent film, television and radio writers working in the United States.
On the 5th of November 2007 they went on strike.
The writers were unhappy with parts of their contracts – such as how they get paid for work distributed on the internet.
More than 12,000 writers joined the strike. Production for all scripted television programs stopped and hundreds or thousands of support staff lost their jobs.
One report says the strike cost the entertainment industry around $1.5 billion.
The strike ended on the 10th of February.
A spokesperson said: "It is not all that we hoped for, and it is not all we deserve."
But, they added: "This is the best deal this guild has bargained for in 30 years."

　米国脚本家組合（東西）は、米国で働く映画、テレビ、ラジオ業界の脚本家たちを代表する労働組合です。
　2007年11月5日、同組合はストライキを決行しました。
　脚本家たちはネット上で流通する番組の支払いに関する契約に不満がありました。
　12,000名を超える脚本家たちがストライキに参加しました。　テレビ番組制作に関わる、全ての台本はストップされ、数多くの制作スタッフたちが仕事を失いました。
　あるレポートによると、エンターテイメント業界における、このストライキでの損失額は約15億ドルにのぼるとしました。
　ストライキは2月10日に終わりました。
　スポークスマンは「我々はこうなることを望んでいなかったし、価値も少なかった。」、しかし続けて「組合にとって、過去30年で最も良い契約を結ぶことができました。」
