One of the reasons people come to Niseko in spring, summer and autumn is to go rafting. Scott Adventure Sports is one of the companies in Niseko that does rafting tours. The Daily English Show has been following SAS staff around with cameras to find out how it all works.

During Golden Week some friends came to stay and we took a day trip to Otaru.
On the way we stopped to look at some cherry blossoms.
We also stopped at the beach and looked at the birds and played in the water. It was pretty cold.

　ゴールデンウィークに友だち家族と小樽へ日帰り旅行しました。
　行く途中、さくらんぼ畑で停まって桜を見ました。
　もう少し行った先の海岸でも停まり、鳥を眺めたり海で遊んだりしました。　けっこう冷たかったです。

You might remember, back in December I took a pottery class and made a little bowl for drinking tea.

　覚えてくれている方もいるかも知れませんが、12月に陶芸教室へお茶用の小さな茶碗を作りに行きました。

　　なまら一発杯2008 ＠ニセコ、グランヒラフ・スキー場

A couple of weeks ago there was a jump competition in Hirafu called なまら一発　(Namara Ippatsu).
It was supposed to be last month, but that day it was really stormy, so it was postponed.

　数週間前、ニセコ・グランヒラフスキー場で「なまら一発杯」というジャンプ大会がありました。
　先月行われるはずでしたが吹雪のため、延期となりました。
